West Rutland’s The Carving Studio celebrated the opening of its month-long 35th Annual Member’s Exhibition on June 10th.

A Brandon man accused of threatening to shoot neighbors, including one who authored a commentary in USA Today stating he didn’t feel safe in the town, has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

A shockwave ran through the town of Pittsford on the morning of Thursday, June 9, as news spread of an ongoing community threat and a lockdown at Lothrop Elementary School.

The Moosalamoo Association and Vermont Huts Association, alongside the U.S. Forest Service, held a public information meeting about a proposal to build a hut on the east side of Silver Lake.

The town has already investigated the bioswales and old storm drains nearby and has reviewed water usage records to try to find a leak. They’ve been able to rule out a sewage issue, but are still unable to point to anything specific that might be causing the problem.
