In a quick meeting Monday night, the Proctor selectboard conducted routine business on several fronts, approved a letter offering state and county assistance to households whose water bills were over $750 in debt, and discussed the siting of digital traffic speed signs coming into town from the south on Route 3. 

Rep. Butch Shaw was on hand during Pittsford’s most recent selectboard meeting to remind the town and its citizens that Amtrak will begin its daily train service to and from Burlington beginning on July 29.

The Brandon selectboard was the picture of ease and efficiency on Monday night as they met for less than thirty minutes to review a relatively light agenda.

Competitors came from far and wide to take a bite at this year’s Swiss Roll eating competition.
