Ally Brown, of Brandon, was recently selected as one of Vermont Business Magazine’s Rising Stars award recipient. The list is comprised of 40 winners under the age of 40. Brown, 29, is one of the youngest to receive the award this year.

Neshobe Elementary School librarian Hannah Fjeld is preparing for the fourth year of one of her favorite school programs, the student-run newspaper club.

During halftime of Saturday’s Otter Valley Union High School football game, 12 new members of the Otter Valley Hall of Fame were introduced, including eight athletes, a coach, two teachers and an administrator.
