When the mats were rolled up on Saturday night in the Vergennes Union High School gym, wrestlers from Mount Abraham, Middlebury, Otter Valley and the host school had racked up three individual state titles and 20 top-six podium finishes at the Vermont championship tournament.

Fall Sports Preview: Otters field hockey led by core quintet of seniors
Otter Valley’s field hockey team began its season with a 4-0 win in Brattleboro on Sept. 6. It’s a tough opponent to start the season with, but it is also a good test of the team’s grit, skills and determination.
