This past weekend saw the annual presentation of short plays (also known as “The One-Acts”) at Otter Valley. Jeffrey Hull, Otter Valley’s theatre director, started these productions 25 years ago to let students learn the art of directing.

Justin Comes busts out for back-to-back wins at Devil’s Bowl
With dry-slick conditions underneath him, Comes marched forward from the 17th starting position to make an authoritative statement for the win. Comes also scored the Charlie LaDuc “Hard Charger” bonus for gaining a race-high 16 positions.

Otter Valley Union High School has promoted JV boys’ soccer coach Brian Thomas to take over as its varsity coach, according to OV Athletic Director Steven Keith.

For the last 69 years, all-star Vermont and New Hampshire high school football players have been squaring off in the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl game to help raise funds for the Shriners Children’s Hospitals as part of 30 Shrine games nationwide.
