The Pittsford Selectboard discussed the implementation of a declaration of diversity and inclusion.

Three municipal employees will be forming a committee to explore the topics of equity and inclusion for the town. The committee will consist of Town Manager David Atherton, Recreation Director Bill Moore and Town Clerk Sue Gage.

A half dozen Proctor residents spoke out against a renewable energy project slated for Grandpa’s Knob in Castleton that would seek to place a single 450-foot-tall wind turbine on the ridgeline there.

Ahead of a RNESU school board meeting this Wednesday, Oct. 20, Superintendent Jeanne Collins highlighted the continued staff shortages and mounting stress on faculty and staff as the biggest problems the school was facing.
