“We’re consistently not sure if we’ll have the numbers,” said BFD Chief Tom Kilpeck, referring to the size of his crew. “We’ve got 23 people on the roster, but we can rely on maybe 15 or 16 of them to actually come out on calls.”

The Pittsford Fire Department recently received a donation of canned emergency drinking water from leading brewer, Anheuser-Busch, to help provide critical hydration to its responders during this year’s wildfire season. 

Scores of eager fans were on hand to see the Performance Arts Connection Wrestling (aka PAC Wrestling) show go boom, boom, boom on Thursday night, and they were not disappointed. 

Estabrook Park witnessed a sharp-witted showdown Saturday afternoon as a host of the most astute Vermonters gathered in the shade of the big tent (wise folk that they are) to take part in the inaugural Vermont State Trivia Championship.

Storyteller and author Doug Wilhelm led a fabulous interactive presentation for 76 local children and their families.
