Youth in Brandon were expressing their anger this past week, requiring Brandon police to respond to a number of different incidents.

On 3/20 Brandon Police received a report of a suspicious male in dark apparel by the post office in Conant Square.

In a relatively quiet week, Brandon police received reports of fraud, investigated possible drug sales in town, and dealt with several mental-health issues, in addition to the usual traffic stops, fingerprinting, and property watches. 

Brandon police were kept busy this past week with medical emergencies, disputes, and driving violations.

Fraud and traffic accidents took up a fair amount of police time in the past week, as did several domestic disputes, some medical emergencies and a death investigation.

Drug-related incidents and theft were in the spotlight for Brandon Police during the week of Feb. 20

It was a busy week for Brandon Police. Along with numerous motor vehicle incidents, officers were called to a medical emergency, received a lewd and lascivious complaint, and encountered a death during a welfare check.

After a quiet day on Feb. 6, Police received word of a minor physical altercation between two students at the Otter Valley Union High School.

The first call came on Jan. 31, when a Rutland City resident reported concerns that his inheritance money was being stolen and wanted to meet with an officer on Supermarket Drive.
