There have been a number of studies comparing communities with and without trees. These studies indicate that having trees in a community provides a health benefit, an emotional benefit, and a social benefit.

Approximately 120 people crowded into the gymnasium at the Proctor Junior-Senior High School for Proctor’s 2023 Town Meeting on Monday evening. 

There was a large turnout, and citizens came prepared to air their concerns.

Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union Superintendent Kristen Hubert announced via e-mail on Tuesday night that both the Otter Valley Unified Union (OVUU) and Barstow Unified Union (BUU) budgets had been approved by voters.

Moderator Karen Rhodes called the meeting to order at 7:01 on Monday evening and the colors were presented by BSA representatives Jon Carrara from Cub Scout Pack 110, Klara Hopkins from Troop 2019, and Addison Boynton from Troop 110.
