Helyn Anderson has lived at 42 Park Street in Brandon for almost 50 years. Located only steps from downtown, it was where John Conant built the first Baptist meeting house in 1800.

The Otter Valley Otters and the Terriers of Bellows Falls took turns dominating play in a rare Monday afternoon doubleheader at Otter Valley High School on Monday.
OV bests Mill River, 38–33, in United basketball
Mill River hosted OV in unified basketball on Thursday, March 31. It was the first game after a two-season pause due to Covid.

The Otter Valley football team’s offensive coordinator was recently promoted to Head Varsity Coach of the team heading into the 2022 season.

Vermont’s trout fishing season opens Saturday, April 9. Despite lingering snow cover in some areas of the state, the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department says anglers can still have fun and be successful early in the season if they keep a few strategies in mind.
