Welch launches campaign for U.S. Senate
As expected, Rep. Peter Welch, D-Vt., announced early Monday that after 14 years in the 435-member House of Representatives he’ll run for the Senate seat being vacated by Sen. Patrick Leahy at the end of 2022.
