BRANDON- Leaf people are everywhere in Brandon! There are some special ones at the Brandon Senior Center. According to Kathy Mathis, the Center’s leaf people are representations of some of our dearly departed.
After one of the seniors passes on, a request goes out to the family to see if they would like their relative remembered as a leaf person. If so, they donate a favorite outfit and the crew at the Senior Center dresses up one of their stick figures. They’re all labeled with badges.
