Beer Fest at Killington

KILLINGTON — Over 3,500 visitors are expected to attend the Vermont Brewers Festival at Killington this Saturday, March 23. The Vermont Brewers Association has organized the festival since the 1990s.

Vermont has more breweries per capita than any other state and produces 292,479 barrels per year. The industry supports 2,304 jobs and has an overall economic impact of nearly $326 million.

The Killington festival is focused on collaboration brews, 25 of them made exclusively for this event. Several of the unique beers that will be available can only be found at the event.

Ticket holders can choose from 130 beers including the 25 collaboration beers from Vermont brewers. This is the only festival hosted by the brewers themselves. At least 33 Vermont brewers will be in attendance plus two guest brewers from Canada. This all-outdoor, winter-themed event is adjacent to the K1 lodge at Killington Resort.

Tasting sessions are from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the gates will open a half hour before each session. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.vtbrewfest.com.
