Bobcat tests positive for avian influenza
A bobcat and two red-tailed hawks found dead in Cornwall, Vermont, have tested positive for highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) virus infection, according to preliminary lab results shared with the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department on February 15, 2024.

Two OV seniors named to 2022 North-South All-Star football roster
Keevon Parks and Caleb Whitney were recently named to the South team’s roster for this year’s North-South All-Star game to be held at Norwich University on November 20.

OV girls’ soccer extends winning streak to four games
One of the hallmarks of great teamwork is communication. This is true in business and relationships, as well as in sports, and it has been a big part of the OV girls’ soccer team’s three-game win streak coming into Friday’s showdown with Springfield—including a 7-0 lambasting of Mill River on September 28.
