The Brandon Budget Committee and the Brandon Selectboard met on Monday evening to continue their preliminary discussions regarding the budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26.
Brandon and Salisbury libraries receive large grants
The libraries in Brandon and Salisbury received notice this week that they had been awarded grants from the U.S. Treasury Department through the Vermont Department of Libraries for capital projects at their respective facilities.

n 1976, the Brandon Village Historic District was officially added to the National Historic Register (NHR). 245 of the town’s “architecturally and historically significant buildings,” mostly residences, “representative of the growth and prosperity of the village” from the late 1700s to the early 1900s then became nationally recognized.
