BRANDON — Each year the Otter Valley Football Club offers a scholarship to one of our graduating seniors. The player must be going on to college, technical training, law enforcement or military services. We ask that the applicant take the time to tell us what football at OV has meant to them.
Our recipient for the 2020 OV Football Club Scholarship is Alex Polli, someone who exemplifies the meaning of the phrase “team player.” His reputation for being hardworking, focused and both a leader and a mentor has followed him throughout his years on the team.
Club members said they have enjoyed watching Polli grow and have been impressed with his willingness to extend his talents far beyond the game with things running in the background that make the team a success, and are excited to see what lies ahead in his future as he attends Norwich University with a focus on health sciences.
