Union Street residents in Brandon are on track to have a new 750-foot section of granite-curbed sidewalk.

The Friends of Brandon Town Hall’s mission was simple: “to bring the abandoned building back to life and make it a community center for one and all.”

This announcement came days after a news story reported that Vermont State Police were investigating an incident in which police were called to a “domestic disturbance” at Newton’s home.
