Before the Civil War, with only one other married couple named Naylor born in Canada living in central Vermont, it led me to hypothesize the name originally had been Cloutier, from the French word clou, meaning nail.

Keevon Parks and Caleb Whitney were recently named to the South team’s roster for this year’s North-South All-Star game to be held at Norwich University on November 20.

OV girls’ soccer extends winning streak to four games
One of the hallmarks of great teamwork is communication. This is true in business and relationships, as well as in sports, and it has been a big part of the OV girls’ soccer team’s three-game win streak coming into Friday’s showdown with Springfield—including a 7-0 lambasting of Mill River on September 28.
