Hiplet

The Casella Theater – Fine Arts Center at Castleton University presents Hiplet™. The Hiplet Ballerinas are a performance group based out of the Chicago Multi-Cul- tural Dance Center. Specifically designed to make Ballet accessible by all, Hiplet™ is a fusion between classical pointe technique, hip-hop, and a variety of other urban dance styles. After going viral on Instagram in 2016, Hiplet™ has received recognition worldwide, with appearances in Germany, France, Spain, South Korea, and Hong Kong.

Tickets: Free for Castleton students, $5 for Castleton staff and faculty, and $10 for the general public. Tickets can be reserved in advance by calling the Fine Arts Center Box Office at (802) 468-1119 or starting one hour before the performance in-person at the Box Office.
