SUMMARY:Ukrainian Art Poster Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Eleven original Ukrainian art posters from the early 1990s are on display at the Calvin Coolidge Library. Local artist Bill Ramage will be giving a gallery talk about his visit to Ukraine and the artists he met there who brought these posters to the United States on a reciprocal visit. Following the exhibit\, the posters will be sent to the Rennert’s Gallery in New York City to be auctioned. All funds raised through the auction will be contributed to the Ukrainian Medical Association of North America.

DESCRIPTION:Blind Visionaries is a multimedia performance featuring photography created by the blind and the visually impaired with original music by the Daniel Kelly Trio. Composer Daniel Kelly\, with the Seeing with Photography Collective\, invites audiences to see and hear the world in a new way through the lens of blind photographers and live music inspired by their three thought-provoking images. This multimedia performance explores the nature of sight and blindness\, light and dark\, and what it truly means to see. \nTickets: Free for Castleton students\, $5 for Castleton staff and faculty\, $10 for the general public. Tickets can be reserved in advance by calling the Fine Arts Center Box Office at (802) 468-1119 or purchased in-person at the door before the show.
